We simply call Cams Corona Tuff – Tuff – however, that’s a bit of an oxymoron. Because Tuff is willing, sweet, easy to get along with, and like most of Cam’s babies an easy keeper. Tuff is a fast equine athlete needing a job.
Tuff is by our stallion FK Snow Camo and out of Miss Corona Midnight by Midnight Corona. Midnight Corona stands in Montana and has sired a ton of barrel, rope and bull dogging horses. Midnight Corona’s dam was the amazing Corona Cash. Corona Cash won: over $1.5M, the All-American Futurity (1997) was 2- & 3-year-old horse of the year. Her race record out of 32 starts 19, 7, 2. Which included 11 stakes wins. Corona Cash $1.5M bested her younger ½ bother Corona Cartel $557142 wins by $1M. Tuff certainly inherited this speed.
Tuff has a ton of speed. His long stride allows him to stretch-out and cover ground. Tuff is also very quick, he can gather up and wrap a turn. He’s been fun to work with, he picks up leads, gathers and turns, works in snaffle and curb bits. I think he wants to drive off his hind end
Tuff has good flex and bend he gives easy to the bit going both ways. To me he seems to want to drive off his hind end in a turn. This guy is quick and he is powerful. I think he has the makings of a 1D horse. All he needs is a job and to be hauled.
